For those items that are very valuable and/or special, we offer museum quality conservation framing that will provide the highest degree of preservation .
Knowledge of the type of art quality will enable an experienced framer to mount it accordingly, since some mounting processes may not be archival or appropriate for an original piece of art to maintain its monetary value. These are important issues that a skilled framer can discuss with a customer who may or may not be aware of the different types of mounting processes or glass qualities.
We only carry acid free mats. we also offer acid free foamboard, conservation & museum glass, as well as spacers so that the glass does not touch your art work in the case you choose not to use matting.
